Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner

anyone played this yet ? i've tried it out...just starting out pretty much.


not as good as DDS series.....the battle system has been revampd into somethin like star ocean where u run around an hit some buttons


id rather have the turn based shit back....an thers also NO voice acting


the music is no where near as good as DDS...theres some rock sounds....but nothing like the masterpiece that is the digital devil saga soundtrack



overall even though i haven't fully played it yet....i already can give it a 6/10 at best.

well the story is set in 1920's japan....your some police detective that can summon an capture lil demons.....shits hella lame.

i played it for a few hours an it just plain SUCKS.....i dunno how else to explain it.

i can't get into it....i've tried over an over but i honestly don't believe Atlus released this game....i would have much rather they had NOT ended DDS an released a 3rd game this past fall or somethin.


it's just so shitty......i can't even mention devil summoner an DDS in the same breath without it being a damn insult.


bottom line....they really fucced up with the battle system....an that just killd it for me.



Anyway...you ever played Nocturne ? i never have...it dropped before DDS...but i'm gonna be getting it soon enough....it looks to play alot like DDS....which is great.

bout devil summoner....i dunno maybe you might like it....but i hate the damn game.

after having expierenced DDS....it's just a damn let down.

if it had a TB battle system i prolly would've played it an more characters instead of some demon running around you lol
