Past few months I've been going back and forth with the Navy about where I'm going since I am suppose to leave this command in November.

In the Navy you put in a wish list of 5 different commands that you look up on a website. Well you have a 9 month window to do all that, but once you get to the 6 month you can't negotiate with them anymore. They choose for you.

A few months back the Navy ran out of money to send people places so I couldn't even put in choices. They didn't wanna send people overseas which is where I need to go because there is a sea to shore rotation. It's like 3 Sea 4 Shore, but since I've been in for two years and haven't been you know they gonna send me somewhere. That's how they roll.

Well I went in to talk to a career counselor and she told me I can't even put in my wish list. I was like that's cool. She told me it's a toss up between going to Cuba and going to Bahrain. I told her I didn't care just send me to which ever.

This morning at like 7 I get a phone call from one of the dipshits that we have on staff telling me to call the career counselor. So I call and it turns out I got selected long ago to go to a command, but no one informed me. It was during one of the first 3 cycles that I put in a wish list. I'm going to Japan for two years.

If you were in the Navy you'd know what a big deal that place is. We got people that would sell their soul to go back to Japan. People text me like "I wish I could murder you and assume your identity. Japan is way better than this shithole."

I won't be convinced of this until I have my hard copy of the orders, but it should be good to go.

---------------

For everyone that cannot read for more than 5 seconds. I am being stationed in Japan after my San Diego orders are over.

That is all.

I heard the Yakuza are the ones who really run shit there
I have heard that from everyone that has ever been over there. Like you see them on the street corners in suits with ear pieces missing fingers and shit just watching and reporting to someone. I've also heard people been in town and seen the police on some sorta scene and the Yakuza on the same scene telling the police what to do. I heard it from too many people for it to not be true at all.

I doubt it. It will probably be just like here. All I do is work, sleep, and see my girl... And post on here. I listen to music almost all day whether I work or not. I'm usually online. I havn't been doing shit for a few months besides having my boy tattoo me so I can stack paper which so far is working out.

Yea, it's true story. No matter where you are you got the net. The is a command in the middle of the Indian Ocean on a tiny island.. Even there they have internet.
