Reviews are all over the place. This game one best of E3, best of this, best of that, yet the reviews are all over the place. One reviewer praises the boss battles, another claims they are too hard. Two reviewers say the animation interferes with doing combos and two others say the animation is spot on.

I played the demo last night and this is a nice side scroller. I'm just debating on getting it from LIVE or PSN.

I played the demo from PSN last night and I loved it. The only thing I didn't like was when the little cutscenes would show on the upper right part of the screen. It would block the bars showing my enemies' health so I wouldn't know how close I was to killing them. Other than that, it was fun as hell and I'm gonna buy it later today.
