Sugar Shane Mosley will be fighting former champ Raul Marquez this saturday on HBO. This will be Mosley's first fight back since his pair of loses to Vernon Forrest. It will also be Mosley's first fight at 154. Look for Mosley to win mid to late rounds by TKO, probably a ref stoppage, Marquez is a bleeder.

marquez is so damn slow....this shouldnt be to competitive.....you hear oscar talking about fighting vargas instead of mosley.....talking all that he wants redemtion shit but the two camps cant come to an agreement......and fuck vargas.....what about winky wright????why nobody want some of him???shit if its all that they should have a box off with oscar-fernando winner fighting the winky-shane winner...have both of the fights on the same night on the same pay per view in september and then the big one to see whos the best jr. middle in december like they use to do in the eighties.....but i know its to much of a business now and if you hold both fights on the same night nobody would make as much money as if they held them on seperate occasions........

Winky isint a big draw at all, so it will be tough for him to get a fight. Oscar has always talked a good game but we will see what comes of his fight after Campos. Speaking of Yori Boy, when Shane was going to fight him, HBO basically barred the fight saying it would be a gross missmatch, but they let Oscar take the fight without a problem. From what I hear of the Oscar/Shane negotiations, they are low balling Mosley so much that it almost seems like they are trying to ruing the fight. I still have hope it will work out, I really dont see anything different happening if Oscar and Vargas fight again.

im talking from a straight boxing standpoint....we know winky wright isnt a household name, but oscar is always talking about his legacy and the real boxing fan knows winky wright is in the top two or three in the division.....oscar has made enough money not to worry so much abouth the dollars and cents and should just fight the best fighters out there.....mosley already got with him once and just wants an equel payday as oscar at about 8 mil.....mosleys being offered just a third of what oscar would be getting 4.5 mil compared to 12 mil that oscar would pull from the fight, wich to me is just a straight bitch move......

I agree 100%. If he goes for Vargas again he is either motivated by money or scared of Mosley. The Mosley fight is what I want to see, and most others. I would actually rather see him fight Winky also before Vargas. I think both would be great challenges for Oscar. Oscar has always talked about avenging his loss to Mosley and Tito, now he has a great oppurtunity to get one back, but he does not look to be to concerned with his legacy and more about his money.

i know the fight was very short but i didnt see the flashy speed from mosley like in the past and i also believe that at 154 mosley will be at a power disadvantage agianst DLH (and DLH is not strong at 154).

about the money situation i heard them (HBO) say something like 12.5-4.5 in Oscars favor. personally i dont think mosley is in place to demand more. i mean Oscar is the only guy out there for him where he can make good money. he can go and fight vargas but he wont make nearly as much and run the chance of getting KO"ed
