Jesse Jones vs. Jesse Gillespie (Pictures)
Round 1
Jones came out with a quick takedown from the clinch. Transitioning to back-control, Jones had a rear-naked choke before wailing away on Gillespie's head. Referee Jon Schorle stepped in to stop the fight at the 35-second mark.

Anthony Figueroa (Pictures) vs. Darren Uyenoyama (Pictures)
Round 1
Uyenoyama took an early takedown and worked to side-control. Figueroa did a decent job of preventing Uyenoyama from taking mount. From half-guard, Uyenoyama swept and locked in a guillotine. Figueroa was hesitant, but a few seconds into the choke he was forced to tapout. The quick submission comes 1:27 after the opening bell.

Luke Stewart (Pictures) vs. Tiki Ghosn (Pictures)
Round 1
They exchanged early and Stewart dove for a takedown. Ghosn stuffed two early attempts and returned to the feet. Ghosn moved it against the fence and they exchanged knees to the stomach. The pace slowed as they grappled along the fence. Stewart is having trouble bringing Ghosn to the floor, but the veteran from Huntington Beach has done little thus far. Stewart went for a Kimura as Ghosn went to his back, leading to little more than a scramble. Once again, they went to the fence standing. Good standing elbow and Thai knee to the head by Stewart. Ghosn fired back but missed. Mario Yamasaki separated the fighters. Ghosn conneced. The round ended with Stewart pulling guard. Josh Gross saw the round for 10-9 Ghosn.

Round 2
A touch of the gloves started round two, and Ghosn checked a low kick. Nice low kick to Stewart's left thigh. Ghosn did a fine job of avoiding Stewart's jiu-jitsu game. He picked his shots on the feet, though nothing of real significance yet. Stewart pulled guard, and Ghosn defended. This is clearly the toughest test of Stewart's young career. The fight hit the floor, but not the way Stewart would have liked. Ghosn picked up the pace. Standing, he scored with a right-left followed by a kick to the midsection. If Stewart can't bring it to the floor, he'll likely suffer his first loss. An elbow from Stewart sliced open Ghosn between the eyes. Doctors let the bout continue and the local fighter has more confidence now. Finally, Stewart got a double and is close to getting mount. The round ended with him on top close to Tiki's corner. 10-9 Stewart.

Round 3
Stewart countered a Ghosn kick with a right hand to the face. Ghosn's takedown defense remained solid, as he stuffed a good attempt. Best combo of the fight from Tiki. A right hand is coupled with a knee to the face that lifted Stewart head. Beautiful sprawl from Ghosn, and Stewart was shooting from further outside each time. He managed to drag Ghosn to the floor, and started to work form the bottom in half-guard. Up and back to the feet went Ghosn. A head kick glanced off Ghosn's chin, and they locked up against the fence. Yamasaki pulled the welterweights apart for a second time, and Ghosn drove Stewart back with strikes, none of which connected. Ghosn ended strong with a combo punctuated with a knee to the stomach. 10-9 Ghosn (29-28 for Tiki.)

The official judges scored the contest: 29-28 twice, and 30-27 for Tiki Ghosn.

Joey Villasenor (Pictures) vs. Ryan Jensen (Pictures)
Round 1
The fighters exchanged strikes in the center of the cage with nothing landing solid. Villasenor scored a takedown from the clinch and began to work Jensen's guard after briefly being in side-control. Villasenor did little from the top, which prompted the crowd to boo. Villasenor stood and cracked Jensen with a knee that caused a little blood to trickle from the mouth. Villasenor landed a big left hand that stunned Jensen, but he answered with flurries a plenty. Villasenor then scored with a right-handed haymaker on the heels of a double jab that knocked Jenson out cold at 4:45 of the first. Good fight.

Mike Kyle (Pictures) vs. Wayne Cole (Pictures)
Round 1
Cole tripped Kyle to the ground with a body lock into side-control. Cole stood up and latched on to Kyle's left arm before dropping down to an armbar. Kyle tapped quickly at 0:42 of the opening period.

Gilbert Melendez (Pictures) vs. Gabe Lemley (Pictures)
Round 1
Melendez got the action started with a counter right hook that dropped Lemley to a knee. Melendez then dropped levels for a takedown and began to work from his opponent's guard. Lemley went high with his hips in search of a triangle, which allowed Melendez to pass to half-guard and side-control. Melendez stood and lunged in with a hard right hand to the face. Content with striking from guard, Melendez landed a series of punches before standing and lunging back in with a punch. Melendez is all over Lemley with ground-and-pound. The first round is complete domination by Melendez.

Round 2
Gilbert blasted his foe with a right hand before taking the fight to the ground with a well executed takedown. Just like first round, Melendez punched the head from the top position while Lemley offered little in terms of offense. After a barrage of heavy right hands found their target, referee Herb Dean stepped in to save the outmatched fighter at the 2:18 mark of round two.

Drew Fickett (Pictures) vs. Jae Suk Lim (Pictures)
Round 1
Fickett clinched immediately with Lim and traded a few punches. Lim tripped Fickett to the canvas but found himself on bottom in the scramble. Fickett locked up a guillotine and dropped to his back, which forced Lim to tapout quickly at 1:14 of the opening frame.

Frank Shamrock (Pictures) vs. Cung Le (Pictures)
Round 1
Le landed a kick to the body and shook off a takedown attempt from Shamrock. Frank landed a kick to the midsection that was answered by a left hand from Le. Cung opened up with his hands and connected with a right. Le kicked Shamrock in the face with his left foot as Frank bent over. Shamrok kicked lightly at the inside of Le's lead leg. Le went for a wild spinning back kick to the head and slipped. Shamrock rushed in and landed a knee that caused Le's lip to bleed. Shamrock finished strong with a punching flurry as time expired.

Round 2
Le ejected Shamrock's mouthpiece was a grazing kick. A lead left hand landed for Le, which was countered by a kick to the body. Frank taunted Cung as bruising started to show on the right side of his own face. The pace slowed as both fighters exchanged a few low kicks. Le pushed Shamrock backward with a kick to the body and a right hook that blasted Frank. Le is keeping Shamrock at bay with kicks to the midsection when he tries to get within trading range.

Round 3
Stiff kick to the liver scored for Le early in the third frame. A left straight, right hook combo found its target from Cung Le. Body kick, left, right scored for Cung. A hard kick to the body backed Shamrock up. Spinning back fist cracked Frank. Shamrock falls after a low kick. Le is dominating midway through the third. Shamrock picked up the piece but Le's awareness and footwork is keeping him out of harm's way. Shamrock landed his best punch of the fight. Shamrock is rallying with hard punches. Le is hurt with a right hand against the fencing. Shamrock is teeing off now with well-timed counter punches. An amazing round ends with Le peppering Shamrock against the fencing with a body kick and hook punches.

The fight is over. Shamrock is unable to continue due to what is being called an arm injury. Cung Le is the new Strikeforce middleweight champion.
