Heres an idea..why dont you just get the fuck off our team bandwagon now..Bonds isn't gonna be on the Giants forever so you might aswell start rooting for Pujols and the Cardinals now.

A lot of Giants "fans" feel the same way, attendance will drop off dramatically when he leaves.

I for one will be happy...get all these bandwagoners out, we dont need em. I rather have a smaller crowd of hardcore fans like the Candlestick days.

you're a Bonds hater so I didnt expect anything less. With the new ownership and Beane's infatuation with him, its still a possibility.
Seriously, there's a certain chemistry they want in the clubhouse. It's a big part of the teams success. It always has been. They would never bring Bonds into that clubhouse. Ever. I guarantee it.

you think the a's will play Bonds 10 to 15 million for one year? they wont even keep zito for that price

if bonds can hit 15 to 20 homers this year, he will be back. i rather see him go to anybody but the a's or the dodgers. if he goes to al probably will be new york or angeles.

bonds wants to be back with giants, if he plays and doesnt return to the giants it will the ownership decision.

of course it will but not a low as the a's. if bonds doesnt return the giants will probably sign a big name free agent. maybe miguel cabrara. move pedro feliz to LF .

how long have u been a giants fan? when bonds signed with giants? ive been a fan since 1987. it will hard to watch games when bonds is gone but it was the same when will clark, matt williams, kevin mitchell left before bonds signed. the offense will be trouble but starting pitching should be good.

Probably not since they have a new stadium and the A's don't (yet.) But it's still going to drop off. The Giants had A's-like attendance at Candlestick/3Com until they moved to Pac Bell Park.

I think they have an option for Thomas next year, but I don't know that they'll pick him up again. They might call up Barton later this year, and if he plays well he might end up DH'ing next year. Or they might just go after another player from the scrap heap like they did with Thomas this year.

I hope the Bonds doesn't resign as a Giant. He is a complete waste of money. I understand that the owners might want him around to make money, but I'm a fan and Barry is hurting the team. He is a liablity in the outfield, and even though his OBP is high, he can't run the bases. I hope the Giants are smart and rebuild the team...starting with the farm system.
