Sometimes I hate to be self-employed. It can be nice at times, but like tonight, I was out with my family eating dinner, and then get a call from a customer telling me a problem that could ruin my business. Just fucks up my whole mood.

Then I have to think about this problem the whole night, cannot relax.

Now I'm just drinkin some beers thinking about this problem, and reminiscing about having a 9-5 job. Just going to work in the morning, coming back at night, not having to worry about shit, getting paid. Sounds fuckin lovely to me right about now.

Anybody else on here self-employed that is not constantly ballin on suckaz?

thats the hard part, you work alot more when its your own thing, but the rewards are nicer and its worth it in the long run, 9-5 is for clock watchers who want to stay on the same wage forever and be content.

the stress is never worth it, but if you do what you love its alot easier.

also, if you employ people, you should delegate more.

Ran my own corp for about 6 years.
Sold it's assets and cashed out over a year ago and went back to being an employee.
I actually have a life now.

The money was great, but if you don't even have time to spend it then what's the point?

It served it's purpose. I'll do it again later.
Having a normal 9-5 is a vacation compared to running your own gig.

Weather it be permits, dealing with realeses, taking cars when people dont wanna give em up, getting on the list for police tows..ECT...

My other good friends family owns a local pizza shop that does well but they are always under pressure to.

I feel you....wussup Mike with some extra stress and money lol....I'm trying to get up some bread for the right idea in terms of importing exporting from China but it would be cool as hell to have a voice/ negotiator their who knows the biz... for example..My homies in LA are paying 15 bucks to make shamballa bead bracelets and 45 give or take for the necklaces it's a fad actors & rappers are rocking and catching on here in Seattle...My first thought was 15 to 45 bucks and they are selling from 40 to 100 first thing I want to know is source and cheapest price....they got online import export that when buy in bulk you can get for 2 - 15 dollars.

this is a shamballa bracelet

now you are in a position to rep for all of us and make money on our import idea's...I dont care who takes this one we can all eat brethren...but these are selling for hella sort of mid range status symbol in the highschools and everyone is starting to wear them...fad or not they are selling now.....as usual Im ranting lol just money minded as I know you can find the factory we can order 10,000 for 45 cents each lol quadrupastackalacking our paper and yours..

if not on this what are some other idea$ our China connect?

BEEN THERE MAN...I HAD A RETAIL STORE SLANGING CELL PHONES AND IT WAS STRESSFUL AT POINTS...TOOK UP ALOT OF MY TIME...NOT TOO MENTION YOU GOTTA BE DIPLOMATIC WITH PEOPLE...I EVENTUALLY SOLD MY BIZ AND WORKED A 9 TO 5...AND TO BE HONEST IT WAS COOL AT FIRST...BUT THE MANAGEMENT STARTED ACTING LIKE SOME PUNKS...AFTER THEY SEEN I WASNT GONNA BOW DOWN TO SOME MORONS WHO DIDNT HAVE A CLUE WHAT THEY WERE DOING...

MOST OF MY FELLOW EMPLOYEES, BEEN IN THEIR POSITIONS FOR CENTURIES...AND WERE CONTENT WHERE THEY WERE AT...SO THEY SHUT UP AND DIDNT STAND UP FOR THEM SELVES AND ALWAYS WORRIED ABOUT GETTING FIRED...WHILE I WASNT WITH POLITICS AND INEFFICIENCY...

LONG STORY SHORT...I ENDED UP HATING WORKING FOR OTHER PEOPLE...IT ENDED UP BEING MORE STRESSFUL CAUSE I HAD TO DEAL WITH RED TAPE AND BULLSHIT...WHERE AS WHEN ITS YOUR OWN BIZ...CANT NOBODY MAKE YOU A SCAPE GOAT AND IF YOU FUCK UP... YOU LEARN FROM IT...NOT GET REPRIMANDED OR PENALIZED...

THERE'S PRO'S AND CON'S TO BOTH SIDES...

BUT I RATHER DO MY OWN THING...IM CURRENTLY TRYING TO SEE WHAT I CAN INVEST SOME MONEY IN...AND GET SOMETHING CRACKIN AGAIN...FUCK WORKING FOR PEOPLE...

ONE THING IVE LEARNED ABOUT BUSINESS...PEOPLE FAIL MULTIPLE TIMES BEFORE THEY SUCCEED...IT'S HANDS ON...EVEN DONALD TRUMP HAD FAILED ON MANY BUSINESS VENTURES...YOU JUST GOTTA KEEP PLUGGING AWAY...AND TIGHTEN UP YOUR GAME...

Yeah I hate running a real business or working for someone...

Love being self employed. Just remember the words of Rockefeller..
the way to get ahead in life.. is to make money by the efforts of OTHERS...

learn how to manipulate things in your favor.. then the money just comes...
people always make things harder than they are..

Also watch the Movie Casino and Scarface is shows you how you make money..
you make OTHERS do everything.. and you collect the cash.. while sipping expensive drinks..
in a dark room nobody knows about.
Those movies inspired me so much in life.. I'd still be working for some selfish assholes
if I had not seen those movies... And the tactics in those movies don't just apply to crime..
you can use the same tactics in legit money also..

I ended up watching Office Space to make me feel better lol...

@ Ez-Roo - Just checked some factories for prices for those shamballa bead bracelets. Ranges from about US$ 0.10/pc to US$ 15 for small minimum quantity orders. You basically show me pictures and give me details for material, quantity, etc., and I send you offers. I can also arrange the shipment to the US. No problem.

I mostly do own designed tableware, decoration, gift items, but also have customers that order promotional items from me. Sold bags, magnetic flags for cars, flags for the car mirrors, hats, caps, air freshener, pens, saving banks, poker cards, and more...

Other than that I can get most stuff except for electronics. Not sure what is selling in the States. Getting customers is the difficult part...

So if anybody is seriously interested, send me a PM.
