Thank you! finally someone speaks on it. I wouldnt be suprised if big lo himself has a heartache on christmas eve just to top off the year. I almost expect it at this point.

The only thing that needs to be said, is that 2008 in Seattle was the worst year in sports for any major American city of all time. It's as simple as that, and that statement right there I'm pretty god damn confident, is irrefutable.

Man, sports in Seattle sucked in the 80's...but ill be damned if they werent fun to attend.
At least in the 1980s you had an outstanding football program at the UW, you could book a bowl game every year (and usually a good one at that).

That is what scares me about the current situation, college football was always the given Mr. Reliable in our area, and now that's gone perhaps to never come back.

Professional sports will be cyclical to a degree almost without exception, same with college hoops in the one and done era, college football however, not nearly as cyclical. That's why I put UW football as #1 on my priority list for the rebuilding of the Seattle sports scene, we need at least 1 team to count on year in and year out.
