Say hello to my little friend. The video game based on the movie about a Cuban immigrant becoming a drug kingpin will finally see the light of day later this year.
Originally scheduled for release in fall of 2005, Vivendi Games has announced that Scarface will hit store shelves for the PC, PlayStation 2, and Xbox on October 8. In Scarface: The World is Yours, the game takes artistic liberty with the ending of the 1983 original movie and has Tony Montana seeking revenge while trying to reclaim his kingpin throne in the streets of Miami.
Scarface: The World is Yours will retail for US$39.99 and $49.99 for the PC and PlayStation 2. There will also be a collector's edition available for $59.99 that will feature a metal case that contains a full map of the game world and bonus DVD full of behind the scenes footage on the makings of the game.
