Say your run a cat/dog shelter in the middle of nowhere when the world is ending.....

and food is very hard to come by.

Do you use your resources (the cat and dog shelter) to be food for your familly and freinds? Can you accept eating American sacred household (and cute) animals to survive? Can you raise kittens for future food? Or do you struggle to find other sources, Im assuming if you dont have the heart to eat your kennel full of dogs and cats, your not gonna leave them to die hungry. Your gonna have to choose between eating them... or paying for food for your familly and these animals you house. Maybe starving yourself cause you cant bear to use your renewable resouurce?

i'd use some dogs to help me hunt , if food is hard to come by hunting id chomp on some cats and dogs but id keep alot of dogs not to eat but i wouldnt feed em dog meat only cat meat

Same here. Breed them and eat them. I admit tho for me, it would be hella hard to cut off some kitty or doggy head cause i picture them so much more above other animals, since i myself have owned both species.
