The economy's first food industry casualty is upon us, as McDonald's is upping the price of its deliciously disgusting double cheeseburger to a whopping $1.19 -- and they're replacing it with the "McDouble," which is a double burger with half the cheese.

The price hike starts in December ... there are dark, dark times ahead, people.

i said the same shit when they raised the price of the jumbo jack. only difference is, jack in the box is worth eating at... occasionally

what's funny was, there was a commercial back in the day about the jumbo jack where a corporate headquarters employee suggested to jack while they were riding in the elevator, that they should "raise the price on that sucka!", and he fired him... and what do you know, they raised the price by like 20 cents about 2 years later.
