Most strikeouts by a pitcher since (I think) 2004? dont be fooled by his 13-9 record, he's having as dominant a year as he's had the past few years... fuckin Twins just cant give him any run support... just look at today, 1-0 thanks to a Cuddyer homerun.

I gotta say I'd love to lock him up with a longterm contract but realistically... one of the bigger markets is most likely going to get the best pitcher in the bigs.

I just hope it aint the Yankees.

the yankees are like the Giants, they like signing over the hill guys (Kevin Brown, Mike Mussina, Randy Johnson, Roger Clemens, Bobby Abreau. only great move they made was the A-Rod deal

so my guess is they wont end up with Santana, unless its 7 or 8 years from now

Actually, football season doesnt start OFFICIALLY until the first REAL season game is played...right now is PRE-SEASON.

Santana is a fucking savage. He has made my Royals look bad a couple times now. I think the Mets are going to get him, honestly.

Look for a big trade to go down at the end of this year for him.
Minnesota will not be able to afford him, but they can get some NICE prospects for him.

Side Note:
Royals are not in last place anymore!

i agree with just about everything yu said, except i think the prospects would have to be alote more than NICE. there would have to be at least 1 maybe 2 cant miss type of guys......

i can also see something maybe happening with Detroit for an elite type prospect like Camron Maybin and/or a couple other prospects?

lol, the White Sox are awful.. I cant believe they signed Dye longterm... Ozzie's gotta be done after this year..

but yeah, if it was up to me I'd send Santana to the Giants... they like overpaying us for our players... we gave them the biggest bumb of all-time, A.J. Pierzynski, and in return we got Joe Nathan, Francisco Liriano (who WILL be back next year), Boof Bonser (still developing), and someone else I cant remember at this second..

at that rate, they'd give up the whole farm for Santana
