Sand didn't help my computer Problem

I got this dell latitude D600 from my ex-step dad a few years ago and now that hes outta here I'm looking to sell this computer to a friend. The only problem is that since it was his old work computer I am locked out of like everything. I cant get the control panel or my computer to open when i click on it. I just wanna figure out how to completely restore the computer to factory settings. So far I havent found a free recovery disk for it either.

Get an XP disk and reload the OS.

put linux on it

Yeah you need a windows cd and then gotta re install windows and make sure you re format the hard drive.

Also after that you gotta hook it up online to download all the laptop drivers.

Id do it for 120.00

Damn my computer won't fit in the microwave. Can I put it in the oven on Broil for 45 minutes and get the same effect?
