NEW YORK -- World record-holder Joey "Jaws" Chestnut again won Nathan's Famous Hot Dog Eating Contest in Monday in New York.
Chestnut swallowed a whopping 62 dogs in 10 minutes at the Fourth of July tradition. That's six hot dogs shy of his world record.
It was also Chestnut's fifth consecutive win in the contest.
His main competitor, Takeru Kobayashi, didn't participate because of a contract dispute.
But Kobayashi chowed down at another spot in New York today, and swallowed 69 hot dogs in the 10-minute time limit.
