San Diego Music Awards TV airs this Saturday, October 10 on Channel 4 San Diego!



The 2009 San Diego Music Awards – presented by Bud Light Music, San Diego CityBeat and Viejas were held on September 11th at Viejas Concerts in the Park. A sell out crowd enjoyed performances from The Zeros, C-Money & the Players In, The Burning of Rome, Steph Johnson, Scarlet Symphony, Get Back Loretta and The Silent Comedy.

And now, you can catch all of the performances, the awards, the celebrities and more on the 2009 SDMA-TV Show, which airs THIS SATURDAY, October 10 on Channel 4 San Diego. The edited for television HD broadcast will air on both the Cox Cable and Time Warner cable systems (San Diego County only) for 2 hours starting at 9pm....so set your TIVO to record!

All proceeds from the San Diego Music Awards are used to purchase Taylor Guitars for San Diego County Schools. To date the San Diego Music Awards in partnership with Taylor Guitars, have donated guitars to 61 elementary schools in San Diego County.

The "Best Hip Hop Album" award is very early in the show. I think the second or third award given. Catch Deep Rooted's winning speech!!!! Brea is looking real fine up there too!!!

But, you can catch all of the performances, the awards, the celebrities and more on the 2009 SDMA-TV Show, which will air THIS SATURDAY, October 17 on Channel 4 San Diego, at 7pm. The edited for television HD broadcast will air on both the Cox Cable and Time Warner cable systems (San Diego County only) for 2 hours starting at 7pm....so set your TIVO to record! (The show will also air on Channel 4, on Saturday, November 14 ay 7pm.)

If you blink, or tune in late you will miss the "Best Hip Hop Album" portion.

We got in a whole bottle of Henn-dogg, and enjoyed some broccoli in the audience. Freestyled/drank in the parking lot attracting the Tribal Police(thay was cool though) Acted a damn fool at the dreamcatcher afterparty too.

We should have pulled a Kanye West during MC Flow's "Best Hip Hop" speach?!?!?!?! That could have been some good pub for "The Best Of Daygo City" albums official 11/10 release, ya dig! Guess the Henn had not kicked in quick enough. Had a drink with MC Flow at the afterparty and she was cool.

I need to get Kanye's recipe fo what he was sipp'in on, he was on a reeeeal good one! It's one thing to run up on Taylor Swift, but to follow that up by busting in on Gas, and Crhymes at the AGNB studios!?@#&*#@ Kanye need to put that in rotation... PASS THAT SHIT TO ME!!!

The whole fam will be at The Rhythm Lounge on Friday 11/6 for Cali Up, Haters Down/The Best Of Daygo City release party/show!!!!!
