This should be a good game, but the Steelers should be able to handle the Chargers. There's no one on their defense or offense that worries me..

Darren Sproles is a gangster though, but he's not doing shit again the Steelers D..

Right now I'm going with the chargers to pull the major, major upset but that's subject to change..........They are on a steamroll right now and Philip Rivers shoulda been considered for MVP.....on a sidenote my picks are 36-1 in January the last 3 seasons.....hope I just didn't jinx myself.....d'oh

i think as long as the chargers get pressure on ben(again), we will force turnovers and be able to pull off another upset. the steelers might have won last time, but they didnt have to face sproles. ben is the x-factor

chargers 17
steelers 10
They will. Ron Rivera turned this defense around ever since taking over after week 8. Ron ain't no punk and Pitt's D-line is crap.

Correction: I meant O-Line.

You obviously don't know what the fuck your talking about! How can you call Aaron Smith, Casey Hampton and Brett Keisel out of the 3-4 crap? I can see if you said this about our O-Line, but not D-Line! You obviously haven't watched any Steelers games this year have you?

Casey Hampton clogs both "A" Gaps by himself! There's not too many players like him that can do that in the NFL...

L.T. Confirms Torn Tendon In Groin

I already expected Sproles to get most of the carries anyway...

http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news;_y...?slug=ap-chargers-tomlinson&prov=ap&type=lgns

By BERNIE WILSON, AP Sports Writer Jan 7, 9:08 pm EST

SAN DIEGO (AP)—LaDainian Tomlinson confirmed Wednesday that he has a torn tendon in his groin and listed himself as doubtful for the San Diego Chargers’ playoff game at Pittsburgh on Sunday.

“It’s definitely torn,” Tomlinson said after sitting out Wednesday’s practice. “I can’t really elaborate on it because I don’t want to give too much information away.”

Tomlinson was hurt in a 52-21 rout against Denver in the regular-season finale on Dec. 28 that clinched the AFC West title. The team has listed him as having a strained groin.

“If it was a strain I’d be able to play with it, trust me,” Tomlinson said. “A lot of guys have strains.”

Reports surfaced prior to Saturday’s wild-card win against the Indianapolis Colts that Tomlinson has a detached tendon that connects one of his groin muscles to his pubic bone.

Tomlinson started against the Colts but came out after scoring on a 3-yard run early in the second quarter. With Darren Sproles filling in, the Chargers won 23-17 in overtime.

Tomlinson said this injury has been tougher than any he’s had during his brilliant eight-year career.

“It feels like something is tearing away from my leg. That’s how I know that it’s messed up because before, when I’ve had groin injuries, I haven’t felt that,” said Tomlinson, the NFL MVP in 2006 who set league records that year with 31 touchdowns and 186 points. “Whenever you feel a popping or like it’s tearing, that’s usually not good.”

NFL teams don’t give an injured player’s status until Friday. But Tomlinson said his status is doubtful, meaning there’s a 75 percent chance he won’t play.

“That’s pretty much what I feel like I’m at,” said Tomlinson, the franchise’s most brutally honest employee.

Has he been ruled out of the game?

“No. Not yet,” he added.

If the Chargers keep winning, there might be a chance Tomlinson could return.

“I think it’s possible,” he said. “I’m never going to rule it out. I’ll have to start to feel much better, though.”

Tomlinson said there’s a chance he could make the injury worse if he continued to play “and do some of the things I have to do. Who knows how much? Once again, I don’t even know if it’s going to require surgery.”

Tomlinson had a 13-yard gain on the first play from scrimmage Saturday night but said his leg was dragging.

“That’s why I said earlier that that game was just all pure determination of trying to just push it and trying to do as much as I could and go. But it was clear from the first carry that I couldn’t pick my leg up and explode and it did feel like it was dragging.”

While happy with the team’s success, Tomlinson said it’s frustrating dealing with another injury in the playoffs. Last year he sprained his left knee in a divisional game against the Colts, then aggravated it and missed the final 3 1/2 quarters of the AFC championship loss to the Patriots.

“I don’t think anybody can know the frustration, to be honest with you,” he said. “It’s tough dealing with it. I really sometimes just want to go home and just stay at home and lock myself up and not even go into public, just because all my life, all I’ve ever wanted to do is play football and, you know, win a championship. And to feel so helpless, to be at this point where we have a chance to do it and again, I can’t do anything about it, I can’t play, it’s like I’m being punished for something. It’s tough to deal with.”

Limited early in the season by a toe injury, Tomlinson gained a career-low 1,110 yards this season.

God this one is so hard to call for me. On one hand I think Pitt should handle since it's at home with the weather, the rest, not such a high the on the emotions last 5 weeks like san diego.

but on the other Chargers have looked good the past few weeks, beat the only other hot team besides themselves last week, have a chip on shoulder from a few plays that went against all season, and want to prove season was more bad calls and injuroies rather than bad playing. I would love to see the afc west reppin in the afc champ game if not super bowl just to prove it really wasn't a bad division just tons and tons of injuries on top 2 teams!

My final prediction but dont hold me to it, it could change tomorrow...hahahahaha

Pitt 17
Chargers 13

San Diego @ cold weather in Pittsburgh does not look good for them. Plus it's cross country. LT also might not play. Sorry Charger fans, but I'm going with the Steelers in this one.

Chargers over Steelers by 10.

Chargers Defense is better than the last meeting. Rivers is on fire. Starting RB is not hurt and special teams are better. One good hit on the Steeler QB will have him seeing double from the recent concussion.

Steelers over Chargers by 10.

The Steelers defense is superior to the Chargers (improved) D any day of the week.. And they've had a chance to recuperate. It's in Pittsburgh. It's gonna be cold. Heinz field is gonna slow lil' man Sproles down. Other than Roethlisberger's concussion, no injuries to report. Willie Parker is due. Hines Ward is gonna punk the Charger's DB's. You can't stop Heath. If Leftwich has to come in, he can win the game. If you double Santonio or Ward too often, Washington will burn you for a big play. Troy's healthy. Clark's healthy. Woodley's due and Harrison's gonna rip shit up..

I can't fucken wait!
