At Heinz Field, it suppose to be 23 degrees and Snow Showers. In the previous match up Pittsburgh won 11-10, but the final should have been 18-10.

Willie Parker rushed for more than a 100 yards and San Diego's rushing was shut down. Ben threw for over 300 yards, while Rivers had a rating of 44.4 and 2 INT's. Ward had over 100 yards receiving and the Chargers receivers weren't a factor. Pittsburgh also didn't have Heath Miller the last time these two clashed.

The difference was a lopsided game in the officiating for whatever reason. Pittsburgh had 115 yards off of 13 penalties which wiped out Willie's rushing yards or how ever you want to look at it? :ermm: San Diego only had 1 penalty for 5 yards... Like my boy Hines says:
"It was weird," Steelers receiver Hines Ward said, " ... but this game is about wins and losses, and we won."

This time around will be even funner!!! What do y'all think???

San Diego is going to scheme completely different this time around. I don't even think Rivera was our DC at that time, or perhaps it was barely his first game as DC. The defense has come around so much since then. If I remember, Pitts didn't even score a TD, it was all FGs. The main problem was SD's offense, but it has evolved as well during this winning streak and Sproles has much more life in him than LT. The lil man is literally a juke or broken tackle away from taking it to the house everytime, he's sickening. Football is all mental as well, SD has grown so much. That last game is history and you shouldn't base your facts on that. INDY beat us last time, look what happened yesterday. SD has just as much talent as Pitts, if not more, they just got to put it all together mentally, which they have been doing recently.

Nonetheless, I think it will be a very close game with SD pulling out the upset. There's something different about this team than last year and I think it's HEART. You can really see their emotion. Their just so determined right now and believe in eachother. That 8-8 record don't mean jack anymore.

I can't fucking wait for this game, I'll tell you that!

i think as long as the chargers get pressure on ben(again), we will force turnovers and be able to pull off another upset. the steelers might have won last time, but they didnt have to face sproles. ben is the x-factor
