On a 1 - 10 scale with ten being the highest I give this game a -3,000,000. I just finished playing it, but now it is in the garbage resting in pieces. Listen, for the sake of all that is good, do NOT buy, or play this game. The graphics are pixelated, and look like a 16 bit game. In my opinion the snes version of the OG samurai showdown looked better than this CRAP. The music sucks, and the gameplay is HORRIBLE. The character animations suck big time. This game HAS to be in the top five WORST fighting games of ALL time. This crap is supposed to be a ps2 game?!?!?! If you see screens of the game on the net DON'T fall for it. The graphics in this game are HORRIBLE!!!!! The people in the game jump all crazy, the game has no balance, large characters have retarded movements and the game does nothing for the series.

Don't fall for the game like I did. I saw screens and vidcaps and I thought the game looked decent (for a 2d fighter), but I was wrong. Boy was I ever wrong.


So for the last time DONT PURCHASE OR PLAY THIS GAME.

Trust me, you CAN pass up a 2D fighter in this day in age, but feel free to go ahead and waste your money. Once you do play it you will think one of two things:

1. The playstation 2 is an inferior machine with inferior graphics (which isn't the case because you have several 2d fighters that look and play good.)

2. This is an inferior game with inferior graphics, inferior control, inferior sound quality and no balance.


On the real, how it looks on the computer screen (do a google for the game) is NOT how it looks in real life. In real life the game is pixelated, looks like it is from the ORIGINAL Street Fighter era (when you could only play as ken and ryu) and destroys the samurai showdown/spirits legacy (which was based on good gameplay, graphics, depth etc.)

damn,was lookin forward to this game too. like sony said,2-d games are rare these days so i try to pick up anything that comes out,but looks like i will have to pass on this one. guess i will rent it first to at least get the curiousity out of my system
