I thought the first fight was too close to call, and could have gone either way. I think we'll see more of what went down in their first bout with Peter landing the harder more effective shots with Toney outlanding him with the cleaner shots but with no effect. If it's close I see the decision going to the younger up and comer, Peter. I'll go ahead and pick Peter by decision like the first fight but it would not suprise me to see Toney get the nod and Showtime try to push a rubber match.

^ He probably dropped 15 pounds of fat, and put on 15 pounds of muscle. Muscle weighs more than fat anyways, so the ratio could've been even higher in favor of his muscle gain.

I think Toney's going to out-box Peter this time around, with his conditioning being a lot better than it was last time, because last time...they were both out of shape and it showed.

Lotta cats sleeping on Billy Blanks and clowning, but not only is Billy a great conditioning coach, but he's an ex Golden Gloves Champ, and besides, what are you going to teach James Toney about boxing anyways...? He's technically one of the best boxers of our generation...

i think there is a better chance this time around things will favor toney. he got alot of insperation to work harder. if he can just keep up what he was doin with a lil more heart he can get a win.

but if peter could learn from their last fight which i'm kinda iffy about. (still young) he can end it.

i watched it again last night on showtime. it just gets closer each time i watch it. i'm sure thats why they're having the rematch it coulda went either way depending on what you look at. i think peters energy in the 12th kinda swayed it his way but i do admit the score cards were to generous for pete.

^^Bold pick, what did you see in the first fight that makes you think Toney could hurt Peter? The first fight he hit him very cleanly and Peter didn't budge or are you confident in Toney's training with Billy Blanks? Just curious, cause I have yet to see someone pick Toney by KO.

what does it matter?

both guys aint shit. the heavyweight division is horrible and these guys arent even the pick of the litter in this weak era.. so i could care less. I dont feel there is anything gained by watching this fight except a higher bill to comcast

They are both top 10 in the division, and any of the top 3 would have trouble with either of these fighters.

Doctor stoppage (by cut) or a ref stoppage (bunches of punches) is still a KO. That's the only way I see it happening.
Still, I wouldn't put money on it.
