What up ya'll:
I got a question, Right now I am recording at 44100Hz and 16 bit depth. If I up it to 96000Hz and 24 bit depth, will there be a difference? Will the vocals come out cleaner? I know it probly take up more space to store vocals recorded like that but is it worth it? I am using M-audio Onmi i/o with delta 66 sound card and a shure KSM 27. Thanks everyone, Peace.

It will take up more harddrive space. Whether or not it's worth it depends on what you do with the vocals. Higher resolution gives you more audio information to work with so if you do a lot of processing on your samples then I would say yes.

If you choose to use a higher resolution then make sure you read up on dithering!

We've discussed this before so you might want to search the forum and read those threads too.
