I bought the dvd (and never did bring it up or comment on that now that I think of it)... I bet it did a million times better than the cd, but that's to be expected.

But shit... 6000? Thats like... my school district.

I never heard of that doc... But to be honest, it's like... The DVD kind of jumps around too much. They don't really spend time on the real BEEF of the matter, rather they skim over a bunch of high profile beefs, but none that deal with Pac or Big, no Jay-z and Nas (very very light coverage), no Canibus and LL, not a word about Eminem, and a brief piece where they reference Ja vs. 50, etc. if I remember correctly.

It's kinda tight though... It got me more into KRS, I know that. And now I know what the fuck "I got doorbells with real bitches singin' the notes" means, and it's the hottest line I ever heard.

The spent a lot of time on the Busy Bee and Kool Moe Dee beef....way more than necessary. I'm glad they didnt do a lot on Pac and Big....there have been entire dvds that focus on that shit anyway. I think they are still doing a Beef 2.

I dunno it was cool all in all, but I'd have liked it if they skipped the earlier beefs and just kinda focused on the current rap shit...

But Beef 2 is gonna be hot because I'm sure they'll do that anyhow. It's def. a good idea to start a series.

Yeah, but they had to esablish a foundation "hip hops first beefs" The KRS/MC Shan beef was real interesting.

Yeah you can hear the bitterness just dripping off his fuckin' words. I thought maybe I was the only one who noticed.

And I been bangin' "South Bronx" like it was 1990... or whenever.
