they refer to the NW as all suburbia lol sac ain that bad. theres bad spots in the nw. gardens aint shit no more really just oak park! the term does fit the lil oregon city's and such and gonna sit here and break down something I care liittle about like crime comparisons but parts of the article were on point others were not.

That is exactly how I felt when I read that article. Sacramento has modest crime rates, and a relatively small black population to begin with, so it's always kind of baffled me that those guys down there are able to pull off the gangster rap thing when the people up here in places with those same characteristics can't.

dont know if anyone is actually from sac but i moved from there in june to spokane and this shit is way different here in terms of rap and life, alotta the real homies here are from la fresno or the bay, oak park aint the only hood still in sac tho

they weren't referring to the nw as suburbs.. they was talking about the suburbs of our cities, the rock and roll pizza spot they performed at basically is the suburbs to portland, WAY outside of the black community, and about 170 blocks from downtown portland..


the only people that go to that venue is from the suburbs really, the streets dont show up there, if anywhere really... only people that show up to lynch/de shows in portland/seattle/tacoma is suburban white folks anyway from what ive seen..

I live in (south) Sac & I don't think itz all that wild either(although a niggaz got klacked the fuck out around the corner last nite on Young street.. Back in the early 90's thiz place waz off the hook. There are plenty of blackz in Sac(trust me).

BY THE WAY I'M FROM SAC LIVE IN THE NW BACK AND FORTH EVERY WEEK, AND LOVE MY CITY BUT HATE THE FUCK OUT OF IT TO. SAC HATES ON SAC ALL DAY AND THATS WHY ITS WHAT IT IS.
