LOS ANGELES -- A man accused of stalking Ryan Seacrest has been arrested at E! headquarters in the Miracle Mile area of Los Angeles.
Los Angeles Police officials confirmed the identity of the stalker as Chidi Uzomah Jr., 25, who was previously arrested for attacking a security guard while trying to get close to Seacrest.
Uzomah was sentenced to 15 days in jail and three years of probation after pleading guilty in the assault.
He was also ordered to stay away from Seacrest.
Uzomah allegedly had a knife on him when he went to the lobby around 9:30 a.m. Friday and asked to see Seacrest.
The security guard recognized the man and called the Los Angeles Police Department.
Uzomah was taken into custody and was being questioned by Threat Management Unit officers at the LAPD's Wilshire station, according to Det. Villanueva.
Investigators arrested and booked Chidi Uzomah for 422 PC Stalking. He is being held on $150,000 dollars bail.
Seacrest was reportedly inside the building when Uzomaht arrived.
