There shoudn't have been a flag on this play. One, the ball was tipped and two, Clark used his shoulder to smash him! Polamalu was right when he said the NFL is turning into a Pansy league, lol. It was a beautiful hit from the #1 Defense!!!:classic:

You's bullshittin'! If you really knew the rules in football you wouldn't be saying that. Hines Ward takes hits like that all year long, every year in the same circumstances and flags are never thrown!!!

So regardless of the rule? So what, just add new rules to the game as they go? It was a clean hit, plain and simple!!! The refs obviously know the rules , but they can make mistakes on judgemental calls too, can't they? According to the rules it was a legit hit and it made the highlight reel fast, lol!
I'm not trippin' though, because Pittsburgh didn't whine and complain, they just continued on whoopin' that ass on the home team's field!!! I will never blame the refs on an outcome of a game, please believe that...:)

How are you guys sayin thats a good hit......Wes Welker started to pull up, so why didnt clark....The ball was no where near him......If it got tipped and welker made a play on it then so be it........And for those sayin fuck wes welker...C'mon now is that the best you can do......Witten took less of a shot from clements and was down for a minute....Then he went sat on the bench and held his jaw for a while ........Wes Welker is a soldier and a hell of a reciver......

Why the hate for Welker? He’s a good receiver…must be cause he plays for the Patsies.

As for the call…it was a good call. Like the ref said…the ball was tipped…but the hit was unnecessary.

It was obvious that Welker let up and the ball wasn’t even close after being tipped. Clark could have just pushed him or something…but he chose to lay him out.

Nice hit though!
