Fuck Russell and all his self-righteous lemmings. The hypocrisy is thicker than peanut butter.

On one hand he rakes in millions from his stake in a music company which is pumping out negative rhetoric about the joys of calling bitches hoes, doing and selling drugs, and committing violence of all types, and on the other hand he wants to portray himself as this righteous and moral "conscience of hip-hop". That shit is like the grand wizard of the KKK organizing a black power rally. Oil and water don't mix, but it doesn't take a oil scientist to see what he is really after.

The real reason for this shit is so that Russell can get in on some of that Jesse Jackson money. Some of that "I'ma-threaten-to-smear-campaign-your-company-unless-it-breaks-me-off" big time corporate money.

Which is all good, I got no love lost for any of those bitch ass conglomerates. More power to the brotha, but doing that shit with this "conscience of hip-hop" label is fuckin ridiculous.

Some choice quotes from the article for the sleepers:

along with writer/activist/car salesman/angry reality-tv negro prototype Kevin Powell

And lest we forget, most of the residents of hip hop nation these days are white anyways, and those white kids aren't turning down a Quaker Chewy Granola Bar in solidarity with their oppressed black brethren.
