I don't think it was a racist comment but it was a racial comment.
You gotta ask yourself, was it racially motivated?
Don't know, I'm not familiar with this cat so I don't know.
What I do know is that I kinda understand the point he was tryin to make. I often felt McNabb was over rated, his team has torched my team every time he doesn't play but we beat his team every time he does play.
It is not up to me to judge why he's over rated, Rush has his reasons. And I don't think it was wise of him to have said that, he should've known better....

i also had no problem with him defending black coaches a couple of weeks ago either.

what he basically said was that donovan mcnabb was getting too much credit for his teams success because of the medias need to have a black superstar quarterback.
he was saying that mcnabb was getting all the credit for the teams success when it was the defense that got them places. he also said that mcnabb was a good quarterback.

Rush tryna say they only do it to black qb's to make em seem more successfull or some shit which is bullshit because look at players like Warner who still gets hype even the he fell the fuck off. Rush is basically a conservative and speaks on the same side of the issues that i do. now to me he isnt a racist but to somebody who believes in liberal views he might be. it is just a viewpoint that we all have and therefore we disagree.

he has many connections with former players (black and white) alote of them call in to his radio show and carry conversation at the start of the season to talk about the upcoming season. today he said that he was approached to do this 10 years ago by ESPN, and that since them he has always kept in contact with the executives in charge of the shoe, and that this year he was at a point where he had enough time to do the show and not have it affect his radio show.
now his job on the set was to make arguements from the view of the fan. he was hired to be a superfan and make challenges and voice opinions.
