RUMOR: BOLTS TRADE TURNER TO TITANS

sd radio reporting that the chargers have traded micheal turner to the titans for a second round pick this year and a first next year, just a rumor at this point cant confirm...however if it is true i feel the titans may have overpaid

Update: Turner has signed the $2.35 million, one-year tender that he received from the Chargers after becoming a restricted free agent, the San Diego Union-Tribune reports. The subject of trade talks leading up to the NFL draft, Turner needed to be under contract in order to be dealt.

Recommendation: Chargers GM A.J. Smith has said that six teams have expressed interest in Turner, but it is thought that Tennessee and Buffalo are the leading candidates to make a serious play for LaDainian Tomlinson's talented backup.

i had a feeling about this too......but i really cant see it happening.....even though saftey was one of the postions we really didnt need since we made FA accusitions at FS.......this draft shocked the hell out of me.....

yeah its pretty much dead for now, since the chargers picked up a safety and the titans picked up a rb in later rounds. there could still be something in the works for a 2008 draft pick but who knows. from what i read the titans wouldnt give up a first
