If you visit a lot of different sites as part of your daily routine, or maybe you like to stay up to date on new stuff for one particular site. Like the Siccness for example. This is a handy tool. With the addition of the new Blogs here, I noticed that each individual user has RSS feeds available for their blogs. Download the program at:
http://www.feedreader.com/download
and install it. When you visit a site and see this logo :
click on it and copy the url of the RSS page and add it to your newly installed Feedreader program. Go to add new feed in the program. You can add multiple sites. You can add RSS from a specific thread or Blog. and you will get a pop up in the lower right of your screen alerting you new content is added. Even when you are not at the site. You can read the content of the page or pages from the Feedreader without opening your browser. I currently have over 100 feeds in mine.
Enjoy.
