"Freedom requires religion just as religion requires freedom. Freedom opens the windows of the soul so that man can discover his most profound beliefs and commune with God. Freedom and religion endure together, or perish alone."

This does not sit well with me as an Atheist. This comes across to me as a direct shot at Atheism.

Did anyone else hear this fool talk?

What really scares me if Huckabee becomes president I think I may very well move.

How the fuck can somebody say that freedom requires religion when the most oppressive systems that ever existed (excluding Stalin's rule) were and are based on religion? People in Muslim countries are free? Catholicism gives you freedom? Get the fuck outta here with that BS
