try this;
XP50

Press DISK/UTILITY. Select SOUND, then select PRESET and press ENTER. Use the DIAL to turn the Memory Protect OFF if necessary, then press ENTER twice.

4 real...what have you been working on lately? have you ever had any problems with the sequencer??? it seems the playback is a little off... like sometimes I will play the melody perfectly & it will be off a little...I never have this problem on the Dr-5.

I haven't made a beat in months cause I've been recording someones mixtape, going to school and taking care of my grandma. When I make blaps I usually use my motif es. I haven't been using my modules, drum machines or other workstations for awhile now.

I've never had that problem with the sequencer, but I've watched someone else have that problem lol. They would play the melody and then when they stopped recording something it would be off. Quantize would make it worse, but for me it was never a problem. What do you ahve your loop points set as? Are you recording with quantize on?

I usually record 4 measures or sometimes 8...quantize type grid, trigger quantize real...
