Here is the final card for the February 26th ROH 9th Anniversary show, which is an I-PPV event:

* ROH champion Roderick Strong vs. Homicide
* ROH Tag Team champions The Kings of Wrestling (Chris Hero and Claudio Castagnoli) vs. The All Night Express
* Jay and Mark Briscoe vs. Shelton Benjamin and Charlie Haas
* Colt Cabana vs. Davey Richards
* Michael Elgin vs. El Generico
* Sara Del Rey vs. MsChif
* Also Scheduled: Mike Bennett, Kyle O' Reilly, Steve Corino, Grizzly Redwood and more

I'm not feeling the main event at all I just don't see roddy working well with Homicide

looks like carino is turning face

i have the KOW over the super improved but its not their time just yet ANX

briscoes have no problem putting teams over and theyve had like 6 tag title reigns and already have lost to KOW at least 3 times but they were all phenominal matches .. i have haas and benjamin over briscoe .

i have haas and benjamin to ultimately dethrone KOW .. i really dont see any other team in roh worthy of doing that right now .. id definitely say ANX if haas and benjamin werent around .

no kenny omega yet huh

hes a good in ring performer but im not feeling roddy as champ at all . nothing about his character is interesting .. what can you even tell me about his character other than he rolls with truth martini ? nothing

roddy is a good in ring wrestler but they have to get him over as a heel roddy has to do something over the top to get over. I would love to see a roddy generico feud, also Claudio need to be in the title or may be have a title run in the future

yeah i can see roddy having a michael cole like surge in popularity if he just does something to the way he talks . he cant talk for shit , to the point where they had to add truth martini before his title reign .

looks like ANX might turn face ? they were getting some babyface pops on hdnet tonight in their matches with Hero and Claudio

well at the very least with ANX we have some new believable opponents for the KOW , I think theyll have a very good showing on saturday , and theyll have way more respect from the fans as a tag team then they ever have , that kind of respect is worth more than the belts . Look at the Briscoes , they lost to KOW at least 3 times in a row but theyre so respected that it doesnt make them look bad at all .

i think KOW will drop to Haas and Benjamin , seeing as how the singles heavyweight division in ROH took some huge losses recently , they may even split up KOW for singles runs . i can see Haas and Benjamin representing the ROH tag belts worldwide just like KOW has been doing this past year

agreed because titus has come along way in the past months I can see this team winning the belts after Haas and Benjamin have thier run with the belts but the angles have been dry after final battle delirious needs to step it up

ROH Signs El Generico & Roderick Strong To New Deals

- ROH sent out the following today….

(Bristol, PA- March 2, 2011)- ROH officials are excited to announce that both ROH World Champion Roderick Strong & former ROH World Tag Champion El Generico have re-signed with Ring of Honor for the foreseeable future!

Roderick Strong, who has been a part of ROH since 2004, is a former ROH World Tag Champion (alongside Austin Aries) with one of the longest title reigns in company history, and in 2010 finally captured the ROH World Title at "Glory by Honor IX" from Tyler Black. Since that victory, Strong has successfully defended the belt on five occasions to date, most recently in a "Barrio Street Fight" victory over Homicide at our "9th Anniversary Show". Now Roderick looks to back up his claims of being the best ROH World Champion in history by defeating his next challenger, former World Tag & TV Champion Eddie Edwards, at "Manhattan Mayhem IV" on March 19th.

"The Generic Luchador" El Generico first competed in ROH back in 2005, and has been a regular part of the roster since 2007. In that time he has captured not only the ROH World Tag Titles alongside Kevin Steen, but has captured the fans like few others who have competed in ROH. Coming off a brutal war that lasted throughout 2010, Generico unsuccessfully challenged Roderick Strong for the ROH World Title at "SoCal Showdown II" in January 2011. Still, Generico remains one of the top contenders for the belt and could very well earn himself another shot at "Defy or Deny" in Plymouth, MA on March 18th.

"We are very happy to have both of these exciting wrestlers re-sign with Ring of Honor." said ROH President Cary Silkin, "Roderick Strong and El Generico are two of the best wrestlers in the world today, and having them here in ROH just continues to show that we offer the best pound-for-pound wrestling in the world."

Both ROH World Champion Roderick Strong & El Generico will be in action when Ring of Honor goes back on the road in Plymouth, MA on March 18th for "Defy or Deny" and NYC, NY on March 19th for "Manhattan Mayhem IV". Tickets for both events are available here.
