Yeah, I read that article, it was quite amusing. To be perfectly honest, I didn't know what the fuck even happened to the guy. Last I remember he left my team, didn't struggle THAT much, now he's playing triple A ball. That fool had some heat, I would love to see him back in the game. Funny shit about his way of life though. Thats how I would be. Fuck all the fame and money, just relax, drink beer and go throw a few balls, Hahaha, good shit. Long live Rod Beck!

Quick Beck story. I used to work at Baseball card shows running the autographs. I worked with Beck at his first autograph signing/card show. He was super cool, and did not think that anyone would come there to get his autograph, it was a free autograph so I assured him he would have at least 200 people. He thought I was on something. Sure enough he signed a little over 350 items. Royce Clayton,Bill Romanowski the other free signers did not sign anywhere near that amount.

Yeah I always liked Rod Beck. I remember seeing him on tv after a blown save drinking a beer and smoking a ciggarete in the locker room. He was one of my favorites.
