I remember back in the old days Rockford Fosgates was one of the best subwoofers you could get for your car system, but somebody told me they're not good anymore. Is it true?

What other Car Speakers should I get instead of Fosgates? ,I'm planning on hooking up a new system in my ride.

the older fosgates like the "hx2's" were way better than the newer ones, i had some 12s back in the day

I also had some kicker cvr 15s, they were loud but couldnt hit the low notes like little bitches

I remember a few years ago when I was getting my system in my old car, people were telling me that the quality of Fosgate had gone down a lot. I don't really know a lot about that shit, but I had a whole audiobahn system... subs, amp, and capacitor, and my shit slapped tremendously

nowadays I couldn't give 2 fucks about having beat in my car though

jl w6s or if you got the cash w7s....you wont be disapointed

amps are just as important as the driver, you cant push qaulity speakers with junk amps
jl audio is a really good brand but expensive. you get what you pay for tho. Amps are a major part. they always give some high rating but the dont say its not continous power. its a 900 watt amp at peak but really only pushing 300 RMS. I hate that shit. heres what i had done 5 or so years ago when i in to all that shit. custom work with all jl audio products. i spent a grip and dont have shit to show but the pictures. lol
