I think the tracklist sounds great. Nice to see Manson on there. I know Beach Boys isn't exactly popular, but there has to be diversity on the damn thing.

I think that's the most interesting set list to date.

Plus you have to realize they need to incorporate the new peripherals, so it's going to be a lot different from previous installments of the game. DLC is really where you get your preferred tracks and I never found them ridiculous as far as prices go.

I hope they do another Roy Orbison pack... Loved the last ones but the songs were of the obvious type. Wouldn't mind "Runnin' Scared" or a few from the King of Hearts album.

Either way I'm looking forward to seeing how the new guitar works. I'm just hoping they don't expect you to be able to read tabs in time for Avenged Sevenfold solos, but then again, strumming 1 note out of 3 isn't going to work when you're holding a "real" guitar like it did when you were just using buttons.

It's going to be interesting to see what comes of the whole thing.

the rock band 3 hardware looks more impressive than the game itself

a keyboard, guitars with strings, the drum kit add on....apparently the mic does pitch correction too

I was looking into getting the "Power Gig" since it's supposed to be a real guitar vs a controller, meaning you can unplug it from the xbox, plug it into an amp and wail away....



so I went into gamestop to ask when it was coming out and he starts talking about the rock band 3 guitar......turns out its an actual fender squier that can play actual real shit....but supposedly that's not coming out till 2011, although they're saying end of this year.....fuck, I want a game that would teach me & my son guitar, not how to press buttons, I think that'd be dope.

the songs look eehhh......but there are some dope songs, I'd enjoy bob marley, white strips, qotsa, steve miller band....a couple others......but learning how to play bohemian rhapsody might be the deal breaker....i might get more experience with white stripes & qotsa, but I'd probably spend many a drunk nights playing queen

I just got the Bob Marley and Jimi Hendrix tracks the other day. Only time I ever "buy" music is if its for Rock Band, the $2 or so a song isn't that bad.
