Turntable group The X-ecutioners changed their lineup, adding two new DJ’s, while DJ Rob Swift has departed the group after 7 years to concentrate on solo projects.
Grandmaster Roc Raida and DJ Total Eclipse will be joined by new members DJ Boogie Blind and DJ Precision in the new group, marking the first time group has operated as a four-man collective since the departure of group member Mista Sinista.
Boogie Blind, who hails from Harlem, New York, DJ’s for Pharoahe Monch and is the 2000 Vestax DJ World Extravaganza.
DJ Precision hails from Queens, New York and is the 2002 Allies All-Star Beatdown World Champion and a protégé of Rob Swift, who are both members of the New York crew The Lo Lives.
The group’s spoksesperson said the split was amicable, but immediate and that Swift would not appear at any promotional engagements for their latest album, Revolutions.
