Yesterday, as I almost got to the corner where I was supposed to make a right turn, the person in front of me double parks (the light had just turned green) while his wife and kids get out of their house and into the car. Being the patient person that I am, I sat there waiting while cars behind me honked their horns (I couldn't get on the left lane to pass him because it was busy and I didn't get a chance to get in it.) Once the green light turned red, he decides he wants to get out of the way and parks his car. When I pass him as he's parked, I sound my horn - to let him know he wasn't doing right - and he says, "Hey, fuck you!!" It was so un-necessary I felt like stopping my car and picking a fight, but I didn't.
A few months back, I was driving down a two-way street. All was well until I ran into a taxi cab who was double-parked waiting for a customer to come out of a hotel. So I get into the on-coming traffic's lane to pass him, but I stop when I get side-to-side with him and decide to flick him off. I keep the finger up but he's not looking in my direction, then I sound my horn and he turns around. Enraged at my actions, he threatens to ram his taxi into my car (by putting it on "drive" and stopping before he hits me... like three times) so I stop my car, get off, and walk towards him (ready to brutalize him.) Shockingly, he just turns around and continues doing what he was originally doing before I flicked him off so I get into my car and drive away.
I'm pretty sure this has happened to some of you: When I was learning how to drive, I was on the freeway and my exit was coming up so I put my left signal on to let the person behind me know that I'm changing lanes. Before I make the lane change, I take a look at the left view mirror and there's the car that was behind me. He then catches up to me so I slow down so I could make the lane change and he slows down. I speed up, he speeds up. I end up missing my exit and he speeds off.
