I used to buy that magazine all of the time. That one and ILL(I think that's what it was called), and Rap Pages, too.

I been knowin all along theyre fully goin digital another sign of u gotta adapt to this new constantly altering era ppl... Shouldnt blame them for switching alternatives & cutting expenses instead of overly spending on pressings that the general music public arent gonna buy... Same applies to books, movies, & music rite??? Duhh lol!!

On the bright side that enabled me to buy all their back issues on ebay while they last...
As a collector Im always on the lookout for the even rarer covers & back issues dating 2000 & b4......
A lotta them are pretty cheap u kno...

Told my brother Scott Bejda about this shit, if y'all read the magazine you'll recognize the name, here's his take on it.

I GOTTA SAY IM A LITTLE UPSET THAT MURDER DOG IS GOING FULLY DIGITAL. EVERYTHING IS GOING DIGITAL ANYMORE. WHEN I GOT WITH MURDER DOG I WAS JUST A KID FRESH OFF THA STREETS. I DIDN'T HAVE ANY DIRECTION, BUT HAD A HUGE LOVE FOR UNDERGROUND RAP MUSIC.I AHD THAT LOVE SINCE I WAS IN EARLY GRADE SCHOOL AND BLACKDOG AND MARY RECOGNIZED THAT.

I STILL REMEMBER THAT FUCKER BLACK DOG ASKING ME "OOOH SCOTT, DO YOU WANT TO SELL MURDER DOG IN YOUR HOOD?"

I SAID "FUCK YEAH SEND ME THAT SHIT!" HERE I AM EXPECTING A COUPLE BOXES MAYBE 50 ISSUES OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT, AND A BIG ASS SEMITRUCK PULLS UP IN FRONT OF MY HOUSE WITH ABOUT 40 BOXES. I DIDN'T KNOW WHAT TO DO WITH ALL OF THEM SO I JUST FILLED MY TRUNK AND HIT SPOTS ALL OVER. MOST OF THE TIME I GAVE THEM TO PEOPLE, BUT WHEN I NEEDED SOME ERB, CIGARETTES, OR WHAT EVER THEY WERE ALWAYS A GOOD SELLER. I WOULD HIT THE GREYHOUND AND SELL THAT SHIT LIKE FUCKIN CRACK ROCKS! MAN THOSE WERE THE DAYS!

I HAD MY UPS AND DOWNS WITH MURDER DOG MAGAZINE OVER THE YEARS BUT NOTHING CAN EVER TAKE AWAY THE FACT THAT ALOT OF GOOD SHIT DID HAPPEN TO ME OVER THERE. I MET ALOT OF GOOD PEOPLE, REVIEWED A TON OF CLASSIC UNDERGROUND CDs, I SAY CDs BECAUSE YES ONCE UPON A FUCKIN TIME PEOPLE USE TO SEND ME CDs INSTEAD OF LINKS, AND INTERVIEWED ALOT OF PEOPLE I NEVER EVEN DREAMED OF TALKING TO LIKE GETO BOYS, BUN-B, SPICE-1, MC EIHT, DJ QUIK, AND TOO MANY OTHERS TO NAME.

ME AND BLACK DOG ON OCCASSION HAD SHOUTING MATCHES, BUMPED HEADS, AND ALL THAT BUT FOR THE MOST PART WE TALKED ABOUT ALL KINDS OF SHIT, BOTH SHARED THE SAME PASSION FOR UNDERGROUND MUSIC AND WERE ABLE TO DO ALOT. MURDER DOG IS ALSO WHERE I MET MY BROTHER C.O. THA! BAD BLACK WHO HAS BECOME LIKE FAMILY, NAW FUCK THAT HE IS FAMILY. 18 YEARS OF MURDER DOG MAGAZINE!!!!! SUPPORT MURDER DOG!!!!! NO MATTER WHAT, JUST AS I REPRESENT THEMOLISHUN, AND UNDERGROUND SOCIETY, I WILL ALWAYS REP MURDER DOG.

ME AND AL KAPONE DOING REVIEWS BACK IN THE GOOD OL' DAYS OF MURDER DOG!!!!!!
