Rikishi Question

I was talking wrasslin w/ some of my friends over the weekend, and my one friend said Rikishi died. I don't remember ever hearing this, so I checked teh google and didn't get a definite answer. Apparently people don't know if he's dead or alive (like Cactus Jack's shirt). lol. Anyone know?

he is not dead. he got shot a few years ago, but he just works the independents these days.

He lives in the bay area. BTW I was watching some old WCW when he was in the Samoan Swat Team, and its amazing how much smaller he was back then. He could actually do moves off of the top rope.
