Miami Dolphins running back Ricky Williams might miss another season ... and this time it apparently won't be his decision.
According to a broadcast report in Miami, which was later confirmed by two sources in a story posted Sunday on the Miami Herald's Web site, the Dolphins running back will be suspended for at least the entire 2006 season after failing a drug test for the fourth time in his career.
The sources could not confirm the substance. Williams tested positive for marijuana in each of the three previously failed tests.
Dolphins spokesman Harvey Greene declined to comment Sunday night.
"Because of the confidential nature of the league's substance abuse policy, we can't comment on any aspect of that program,'' Greene told the Herald.
Williams sat out the 2004 season after abruptly retiring from the game after the 2003 season. He then returned last year and was suspended for the first four games due to a failed drug test.
While away from football in 2004, the All-Pro running back spent some of his time in Northern California studying yoga and holistic medicine.
Williams' previous positive tests occurred in December 2003 and in the 2004 off-season.
