I went to Hot August in Reno this last weekend and I was kickin it with RR. He was stayin at the same hotel I was at and my boy works at the front desk and on Friday night he called my room talking bout Rich just checked into the hotel. So I went down and was choppin it up with him when he was touchin up his ride. So he got my room number and said he was gonna hit me after he got ready. Sure enough he hit bout 30 minutes later and came over to our room with his boys. We was blowin big bomb and just chillin.
I remembered how some folk on this board was talkin bout how he was supposed to be signin with Muder Inc. and I was askin him about that and he said they are talking about it and that him and Irv Gotti been knowin each other for a minute and that Ja's his boy. He said he's thinkin about making the move but nothing final. He confirmed that Nas is signed with the label also. Out of curiousity I asked him what kind of music he was bumpin on the way up to Reno and he said the P.Diddy remix album. That kinda shocked me and I was like "what the fuck!" And he said "that shits the knock...Puffy's my boy!"
We kicked it most of the weekend, he was hella cool and down to earth. We exchanged numbers and he called me Sunday at 8am to say bye cause he was bout to go back to the Bay and we're supposted to kick it this week. He's also doin a show at The Usual in San Jose this sunday night with E-40, B Legit and others....ya'll should come check it out and support your local Bay area artists.
