This show went down on Friday July 30th @ Club Broadway in Everett, WA:
The show started off with some openers from Seattle and Tacoma. Those were Dirty Bird and LRG. They put on a good show, and it was full of energy. The only problem was with the lighting on the stage. You couldn't really see the faces of the performers.
Next up was DJ Chill who rocked the spot and prepared the stage for yours truly and Maniac Lok. We flew the the set of some new material from the Goon Sqwad album and the crowd was feeling it. The act before us had warmed the crowd up perfectly for us, so it wasn't hard to give them "Tom Tom", "Paperchase", "Feds Come", "Walktadis", and more. It was hot.
Then came Dru Down who started the set off with "Can You Feel Me" and then did like 4 new songs from his upcoming album. He ended his set with "Pimp Of The Year". Dru has alot of good stage presence and energy as well. He puts it down.
Up next was B-Legit and Harm. They did some crowd partcipation stuff and then went into songs like "International", "Check It Out", and some other hot joints. He got the people ready for Spice 1.
Spice 1 did a number of classics "187 Proof" and more. He put it down. The only problem was the the club was cutting it close on time so they turned the lights on on him. But I must say that it was good the hear some of that super classic Bay Area shit.
After the show was the afterparty where Goldmine Ent. secured damn near the whole 3rd floor of the hotel with VIP rooms, and many people kicking it. Smoking, Drinking, and real partying ya'll. They really laid it out for everyone and a good time was had by all. And after the show Spice1, Dru Down, and B-Legit were all kicking it with the fans and VIP's that enjoyed the show.
If I had to judge it, I would say that they there were about 700 people in attendance. Make sure that if you see Goldmine Ent, you support it.
A big thanks also goes to Definition Marketing, Bizzle Bizzle Ent., Seaspot.com, Sea-Sick Graphics, B-Legit, Harm, Dru-Down, Spice 1, and many more people.
