Apparently, the inside of the insert has some damage. Such as tape pulled off the ink. Well, buyer paid $200 for cassette. I told them to send the cassette back and I'll give them a refund. Well, they said just give them a partial refund and they'll keep the cassette. I asked them how much they think is fair. Ok, must be some good weed overseas and he wanted $150 back. They wanted $150 back. I told him send the cassette back for a full refund. No way an imperfect insert takes $150 from value. The cassette is in gear condition and insert is too minus inside. The insert isn't even torn and outside looks new. He wants to keep the Lyrical Driveby. I sold these to him around the end of November I believe. So, once I get it bac k, I'll issue refund and relist on eBay.

not a waste of money but still a waste of time. and everytime you send a tape thru customs you're magnetically damaging it with all the scanning they do at clearance points on both ends. I think I wrote up a post about on here once. It's usually just minor frequency loss, but on old material could potentially be a big deal. I know I've have a few items get completely messed up just going from US to Canada and back. Something to think about. Whos the Buyer so I dont have to deal with it, i know you sold it as used, what was he expecting?

I told the guy the best I can do is $40 refund and he keep the cassette. He threatened to file a PayPal case. I told him go ahead if he felt it was necessary. Not paying him $150 of $200 just for tape damage on inside of insert. It was correctly listed, no return, and proper scans. So, if $40 isn't enough, let PayPal handle it.

He just opened a resolution case. So, I'm going to throw a monkeywrench in the situation. He wants $150 partial refund for something he paid $200 for. If I'm giving that much, going to tell him to send both cassettes back for full refund and that will conclude our business. He wants to hold on to the Lyrical Driveby, but he's going to have to make a choice.

Even after ebay told him to send it back, he wants t keep it but work out a bigger partial refund. Told him just send I back, he get refund, and our business will be done. He basically wanted $150 of the $200, not because of the insert damage. He complaining about shipping, customs duty fees, etc. So, he wanted me to cover those charges. Now, he really screwed himself since he has to send it back with tracking which is another charge. All because he tried to get over.
