ESPN just reported the texans just came to an agreement with DE Mario Williams for the #1 pick. I wonder how much of this recent scandal has hurt Bush. I don't know, but it seems pretty stupid not to take Bush - he's a gamebreaker.

Niners have 2 1st round picks tomorrow and everything i've seen says theyre taking TE Vernon Davis. I think the niners will take A TE, but with the second pick. Draft is super deep in TE's so i think they'll pick hopefully defense with that first one.

Id be very happy if they picked Vernon Davis with the #6, i have a feeling we would be evil if Vince Young is there @ #6 and trade to sum1 who wants him......

But Reggie Bush still could be the #1........

Real fucking talk...many TEs in the draft who will end up being solid pros... I just hope the niners follow suit.

I don't think what they did was that stupid. I mean they were right when they said they weren't gonna outgun peyton manning so why not go the whole "defense wins games" route and get a good solid defense set up.

Good shit... Defense wins championships. I would have picked Mario over Bush too. Bush will get about 20-25 touches a game versus Mario Williams getting about 60 snaps. I'd go with Mario too.

Hmmm...true defense wins championships. But who would you rather have though ? A faster version of Marshall Faulk or a Julius Peppers/Jevon Kearse ? Its a easy choice to me. Ill have to go with Bush.

I still would have taken Williams. Both are good players but you don't get chances at players like Williams. Williams defensively will have a bigger impact. He may take up two blockers freeing someone else up to have wide open shots on your qb! Bush is deep but can he help pass protect?
