People thought the same thing about the Air window and the Shox too. It's trying to do what everyone else isn't.

^ Exactly. And it sells. I remember getting in the first Nike Shox called the NZ at a shoe store I worked for back in the early 2000's and I promised people they would never sell...

Two month later and three stock sellout's and I was completely wroung about my assumption.

They're still making the NZ to this day in new colors at the same $120 price tag as 2003.
