Redskins release Alexander

With Clinton Portis and Ladell Betts back from their knee injuries, the Redskins no longer had a need for running back Shaun Alexander.

Thus, the Redskins released alexander on Tuesday so they could sign defensive lineman Ryan Boschetti to their roster.

Alexander never made a mark in Washington. He was signed as insurance once Betts was hurt. And now, Alexander’s final game with the Redskins came in Seattle, where the former NFL MVP made his most lasting impact.

Well after we got Betts back there was no need for him. He didn't do shit anyways so Alexander can pack up his bags and take his 11 carries for 24 yards with him! Thanks Shaun lol.....

trading for players that are on team rosters have a deadline...its around the middle of the season....week 6 or 7 i think


free agents are players that have been cut by teams and are looking for a job.....players get cut and signed as FAs throughout the year...
