the remote is wireless. you must be asking if there are going to be any wireless nunchuk attachments. I dont know about nintendo making them, because it seems to me like the wire actually helps keep your hands in the right vicinity, but im sure a 3rd party developer will eventually make one

Like Home-E said, the remote is wireless. The only cord is between the remote and the nunchuck attachment in your other hand. No one should trip on this cord. But if you think you'll trip over it while playing anyway, then just make sure to fasten a dorito over your head beforehand and you can hang glide slowly to the ground - saves a trip to the hospital.
