how many times can you send in your xbox to fix this shit. Last time I did it was like 5 years ago. Shit happened again today. Can I send it again or is it a 1 time deal?

You should send your X-box in and get another one and get a PS3 also so you wont play your X-Box as much. I hope the newer models aint getting the red rings, if they are my shits gonna be fried

X-box 360 warranty is good for 3 years for RROD. If you really think its been 5 years then its probably time to chuck it in the trash or try the "fix" which will only fix it for about 2-4 months. I have both xbox 360 and ps3 and I have had to send in the 360 5 different times for the RROD and now I'm out of warranty and have another RROD... Im Shit out of luck. I just hit it with a bat and was on my way with the ps3.

there are no actual "fixes" for the 360...just hopes and prayers that it boots without problems

i do know a guy in vallejo that claims to fix them....he puts a 1 year guaranteed to be fixed on his work....apparently he re solders a bunch of things

he's puzzled about mine though...saying it has no indication of heat and he doesnt know why mine red ring'd.....i told him its a fuckin 360 they red ring right out the box sometimes...fix it! lol

Damn that sucks man.....well i have a ps3....i got mine the first day it came out.....(600 bones with the talladega nigths blu ray included) i have about 60 hours of playing time between only the cod games....thats not including 3 years of online baseball or madden games....dont forget about Gta4 battlefield, red dead, fight night, killzone resistances or uncharteds....and also passing out numerous times with blu ray playing movie or streaming netflix where the machine was left on for 10-12 hours or more......

all that abuse and NOT ONCE have I EVER had a problem....
(knock on wood)

the biggest thing for me that I have to worry about is spilling beer on my controller....


in summary, just get a PS3 i mean online is fucking free for god sakes

I got that 360 way back. I always planned on getting a PS3. I was waiting for the price to go down. Now that it did. I told myself Ill cop a PS3 when this shit breaks. Looks like im moving back to Sony. fuck microsoft!
