I know there are a few companies in Seattle that will recover data from harddrives. Mainly they deal with damaged harddrives, but I'm sure they can easily recover recently deleted files as well.

Their services are not cheap though...probably looking at around $300 (or a lot more if the harddrive is physically damaged).

File Recovery.

Try this. It worked for me. You need to save the recovered files to seperate drive , apart from the one you recovered the files from. So it helps to have a second hard disk. If not, you can use Partition Magic to create a separte partition with a virtual drive and save it to that.

There is software you can get that can restore deleted files. I dont know the names though.
