my homie wants me to record a verse for a track but i cant make it to his house any time soon....

he gots a Boss BR-8....i was planning on recording a verse on my other homies BR-8 here in town....

would it be better quality to dump the vocals onto cd and send it to my homie or save the vocal/ad libs to a zip disk and send that to my homie....im sure the zip disk will sound better but how hard would it be to track my vocals onto the original....

im planning on doing this by tuesday at the latest so quick responces would be appreciated....

hmmm

don't know about your maching but, i got a roland vs 880 and i've swapped verses with my homie using zip disk, and as long as the beat is on there it should be no problem. just don't do any more mixing than you have too unless you're the one mixing the song when it's finished. basically if you got 3 vocal tracks leave them on seperate tracks and let him fuck with it. also, if you have scene buttons on your machine, make sure you use em.
