recording problem with Acid....and Vegas

ok, while recording in Acid or Vegas....the beat is on track 1, vocal on track 2 and backups on track 3....

track 2 is right on time with the beat......but the overdubs on track 3 come out too soon or too late...hella off in timing...they dont match up...

i've tried adjusting everything and it only happen with the overdubs...Anyone here work with Acid a lot...can ya help me?.


other than that the program works fine....but i've had this problem in both Vegas and Acid....

are you at 48khz? if so, lower it.

no i'm pretty sure its set at 44.1.....any ideas ?

it does that on mine if i have the wrong sound card selected, but i have 2. can you record ok in cool edit or other programs?

maybe you need an up to date soundcard
